This Code of Conduct applies to everyone involved in our festival, including guests, staff, volunteers, vendors, press, and online participants.
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in removal from the event or digital platforms without a refund.
Unacceptable Behaviour
The following behaviours will not be tolerated at any Odyssey Gaming Festival event:
Harassment & Threats
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation, including physical threats or violence.
- Unwanted physical contact or inappropriate advances.
Discrimination & Hate Speech Discriminatory behaviour, offensive language, or hate speech based on:
- Race or ethnicity.
- Gender identity or expression.
- Sexual orientation.
- Disability.
- Age.
- Religion or belief.
Other Violations
- Use of slurs, obscene gestures, or derogatory language.
- Unauthorised photography or video recording of guests, attendees, or exhibitions.
Reporting a Violation
If you witness or experience inappropriate behaviour, please take the following steps:
- Notify Event Staff: Alert the nearest staff member, who will escalate the matter appropriately.
- Serious Concerns: Contact us directly at [insert contact email]. All reports will be handled confidentially and addressed within 24 hours.
Immediate Action A festival manager will assess the situation and take necessary action, which may include:
- Issuing a formal warning.
- Removing the offender from the event.
- Involving local authorities, if deemed necessary.
Zero-Tolerance Policy
Any attendee asked to stop inappropriate behaviour must comply immediately.
Serious or repeated violations will result in permanent removal from the festival—without a ticket refund.
